Today is the day before I leave.
Today is my last chance for laundry, packing and those last goodbyes.
Today is my last day in the States.
Today is the last time I will sleep in my own bed.
And yet even with all these lasts come some very happy firsts. Tomorrow will be my first time traveling internationally on my own. First time in Europe! First time living on my own!!! First time I will be able to walk to school. Yep lots of good firsts too. As my departure creeps closer and closer I am getting more and more excited. 5 whole months in Ireland! I just hope that I can manage my time wisely and take advantage of every opportunity God gives me. This will be not only a studying trip but also a learning and growing and exploring and serving trip. And for that I am grateful.
Today is a great day.
